What is UTeM?
UTeM is an abbreviation for Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka. The University was established on 1 December, 2000 under Section 20 of the University and University College Act 1971 (Act 30). UTeM is the 14th Public Higher Education Institution in Malaysia.
Where is the campus of UTeM?
The University operates from two campuses. The Main Campus is located in the green surroundings of Durian Tunggal, approximately 3 minutes from the Ayer Keroh Toll. The 766 acre Main Campus is expected to be completed by 2010 with the state-of-the art facilities and infrastructure and the Industry Campus which is located in industrial area at Ayer Keroh
What is the advantages studying in UTeM?
UTeM is a pioneer in the “Practice and Application Oriented” teaching and learning approach for technical education, which makes it different from the other universities.
What types of academic programmes are offered?
The University offers academic programmes at diploma, bachelor, master and PhD levels specialising in engineering, ICT, technlogy management and technopreneurship and engineering technology.

What facilities are provided?
The University aims to have a campus conducive to learning and living. Among the facilities provided are hostels, library, Cyber Hall, Cafeteria, Sports Complex, shuttle service, mosque, and so forth. All the facilities provided are not only in relation to student capacity and needs but also teaching and learning requirements.
