1. Student received UTeM Offer Letter |
|
2. Student to submit complete VDR documents |
Student to submit complete VDR documents by email:
- Copy / scan passport (all pages including the blank ones)
- Copy / scan UTeM offer letter
- Copy / scan passport size photograph
- Copy / scan of Test Report Form (International English Language Testing System IELTS)
- Copy / scan signed of the Student Acceptance Form (it is attached to the offer letter)
- Name of the Embassy of Malaysia / Malaysia Consulate Office near the student

3. IO to check and vet documents |
IO checks and vets all the documents submitted by the student
|

4. IO to submit the application to the Immigration Department of Malaysia |
IO will submit the application to the Immigration Department of Malaysia. The process will take minimum of two (2) weeks to be approved
|

|
5. Issuance of VDR Letter |
VDR Letter is ready and issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia
|
|
|
|
6. VDR Letter to be send to the student |
IO collected the VDR Letter from the Immigration Department of Malaysia and sends the letter to the student via email
|
|
|
|
7. Student to present VDR Letter to the Embassy of Malaysia / Malaysia Consulate Office |
Student MUST present the VDR Letter to the Embassy of Malaysia / Malaysia Consulate Office in order to obtain the Single Entry Visa VDR stamp. Without this stamp, student pass could not be issued

8. The issuance of visa to the student |
Visa is issued by to the Embassy of Malaysia / Malaysia Consulate Office. This visa will only valid for three (3) months from the date of the issuance. If the student does not enter Malaysia within the three (3) months time, the student is required to re-apply.

9. End Process |
Student is ready to enter Malaysia. Please notify the IO staff and email a copy of the flight itinerary for a pick-up airport service
