  • The exchange of technical knowledge & availability of the latest grinding machinery to UTeM for the development of technical know-how in the design, R&D and manufacturing of precision cutting tools for Malaysia’s future generation in precision tool and cutter grinding technology for the aerospace, automotive & semi-conductor industries.
  • Sponsor cooperative seminars and workshops for demonstrations to the industrial community for dissemination of technical knowledge on matters of mutual interest.

Institutes of Technology Ireland
  • Encourage the exchange of educational staffs, experts and students on projects and programmes that will be ofmutual benefit to the countries of both Parties. Such exchange may involve teaching assignments, research that may result in joint reports or publications, or study visits.
  • Collaboration in research projects.
  • Carry out any other forms of cooperation as may be jointly declared upon by the Parties.

  • Exchange of information in the area of scientific education and materials in the development of School of Engineering labs, including training of academic staff and developing the teaching and learning programs at EAU.
  • Exchange of information in the area of scientific education and materials in the development of IT Faculty at EAU in both staff training and academic programs development.
  • Exchange of academic staff of both universities, which are made available by both parties.
  • Exchange of scholars in the areas of academic development, scientific development, sharing experiences of R&D and Postgraduate Programs.
  • Sponsoring cooperative seminars, workshops, and other scientific meetings on matters of mutual interests.
  • Development of staff and students exchanges of the two universities.

  • Research collaboration in the areas of mutual interest to both parties, in which staff and students may be included:
    Research collaboration will involve the FTMK of UTeM and FIT of QUT
    The intended research areas involve areas not limited to Information Security and Smart Tools and Services.
    The exchange of research students or staff will be conducted in specific areas of mutual interest. Costs and fees towards this will need to be negotiated.
