PROCEDURES FOR PORTAL PASSWORD RESETTING
1. Go to UTeM Website
2. Select Portal / SMP / SMPS Application
   
3. The following interface will be displayed if you select SMP
 
4. Please click Forgot Password
5. Forgotten Password Pop Up will appear
6. Enter User ID and IC Number / Passport
7. Click the Submit button
   
8. The following Pop-Up will be displayed.
An email will be sent to MatricNo@student.utem.edu.my for the next step.
 
9. Click the proceed button
10. Success Pop-Up will appear, click OK
 
 
   
11. For the next step, students need to access the university’s official email.
** For students who do not have email accounts, please refer to the EMAIL SETTING PROCEDURE first.
 
     
12. You will receive an email from portal@utem.edu.my
 
  A : Please click Confirm Password Change if you have completed steps 1-10.
  B : Please click Cancel Password Change if you have not completed steps 1-10.
13. Pop Up Confirm UTeM Portal Password Change will be displayed. Please click Close
 
   
14. You will receive a second email from portal@utem.edu.my containing your User ID and new password.

Repeat steps 1-2 and enter the new password to access your portal.
