The Office of the Registrar was established simultaneously with the appointment of its Registrar on January 2, 2001.The Registrar was appointed under the provision 13 of the Technical University of Malaysia Melaka's (UTeM) Constitution as a full-time University officer and has the power and obligation as prescribed by the Statute.
The Registrar's Office is one of the main functions of the university and the heart of the whole systems of administration of the University. It is responsible for the management and development of human resources, management of students and security in accordance with the goals of the university.
The establishment of the Office of the Registrar is to fulfill the need of having professional management as well as the development of human resources as well as possessing have high administrative management skills to support the vision and mission of the university.
The Office of the Registrar interpret, formulate and implement administrative policies and acted as reference body in relation to the management of human resources in line with the country's public services policies.
