MUCET is a conference where research papers from four well-known universities are presented under the umbrella of Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN). The purpose of the conference is to present industrial based research and seek cooperation among UTeM, UTHM, UMP and UniMAP.

 MUCET  was established four years ago, and this year is UTeM’s turn to play host. The University shall adhere to the tradition determined by MUCET. However, UTeM plans to make some changes in order to enhance the quality of the conference.

MUCET2010 hopes to provide opportunities for lecturers from the technical universities and local polytechnics to present industrial based research. This approach paves the way for bridging the efforts as well as widening the collaboration between the technical universities and polytechnics. UTeM proposes to replace the research product exhibition with poster presentations. The University believes that this proposal will help to disseminate technological knowledge on a wider scale to participants and MUCET 2010 visitors.
