The Student Affairs & Alumni Department, formerly known as the Student Affairs Office, was established on 1 September 2001. Today the Student Affairs & Alumni Department have five main divisions which are Administration and Financial, Student Development,Student Services, Student Clinic and Sport Center
This Department plays an important role in the continuing educational process by engaging in activities which enhance the development of student potential. Thus, the main function of the Student Affairs & Alumni Department is to provide the kind of student development and welfare programmes which are equal to that of other institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. Each unit is developed in line with the Strategic Plan of the University.
Furthermore, the Department is responsible for organising programmes for student moral development, ensuring student welfare and managing student involvement programmes that serve to produce graduates of quality and excellence. It also provides activities which help students to enhance their soft skills.
