FUNCTION | 1. | As the Chief Executive of UTeM, the Vice Chancellor is responsible for the overall achievement of the University in line with its vision, mission and objectives. | | 2. | Plan short and long term strategies for the development of the University. | | 3. | Act and make decisions in accordance with the provisions under the University constitution, statutes, and government regulations. | | 4. | Manage, coordinate. and monitor all university matters in a systematic and efficient manner. | | 5. | Evaluate, check and ensure that decisions made are implemented. | | 6. | Create rapport with external agencies such as universities, industries and appropriate organisations, locally and internationally, in order to enhance areas of cooperation which are mutually beneficial. |
